Tied Up

Scarfs
Edgewood's FBI hosted an event, All Tied Up, after school on Thursday, December 8. The purpose of this event was to teach students in grades kindergarten through 6th different aspects of a formal dance. Four fathers and community members along with teachers ran four different stations including: how to tie a tie, how to tie a scarf, learning the box step, and dance etiquette. The students and volunteers all had a great time.

Many thanks to our community members and FBI for the donation of ties and scarfs. A special thank you to Mr. Bagwill, Mr. Corley, Pastor Williams, and Pastor Lane for the donation of your time, we appreciate you. Each student that attended was able to take home their own tie or scarf. Our students cannot wait to spotlight their new skills at Edgewood's upcoming Winter Ball.
