Students have Earned Direct Entry to the Regional Carpentry Apprenticeship Program

We're very pleased that the first students have earned direct entry to the regional carpentry apprenticeship program, through the partnership established a few years ago at the A. K. Smith Career Center in Michigan City. This was the first of its kind in our state, and other high schools and career centers are now planning to use the program. A win-win for students, employers, and the carpenters!
