Barker’s MATHCOUNTS Team competed in the Calumet Chapter competition.  Team members include: (Pictured left to right) Jada McKendree, Mackenna Nowatzke, Torey Morris, Alexis Gresham, Dei Oldenkamp, and Nathaniel Kutch.

Alexis Gresham competed in the Indiana MATHCOUNTS Calumet Chapter competition.

Her score qualified her for a trip to the State Competition to be held next Saturday, March 12th at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Alexis was one of six Barker students who competed at a MATHCOUNTS competition held at Valparaiso University last month.  She earned Runner-Up Honors in the Countdown Round of the event.

During National Engineers Week, Barker students also participated in EWeek MATHCOUNTS events related to engineering careers. Thomas Stephenson received a prize drawing for $10 Amazon card!
