Barker Middle School competed in the MathCounts National Engineers Week "Problem of the Day".  Each day the week of February 22nd, MathCounts website focused on an Engineering Career and posed a math problem with multiple parts related to that career.  Students entered into the daily contest to win an individual prize of $10 e-gift card from Amazon or a group prize of $50 e-gift card from Amazon sponsored by BAE Systems in conjunction with MathCounts.  8th grade student Vivian Taylor won an individual prize!  Vivian is now deemed a "Future Engineer" by MathCounts.  Way to go, Vivian!!
