  • Habits of Character: Empathy Celebration

On Wednesday, October 11th, we celebrated the first quarter Habits of Character award winners. During Crew time, students were nominated for displaying empathy towards their fellow classmates. The nominators were then able to share their story of empathy and present the award to the winner at an assembly. Students also played a fun game where teams of contestants had to pop balloons (without hands!) and unscramble the letters inside to spell EMPATHY. Team 8 Arctic Wolves were the first to figure out the secret word.  The assembly ended with a rousing rendition of the Krueger Fight Song.

A hearty CONGRATULATIONS to our first quarter Habits of Character Empathy Award Winners:

Kimberly Cerrato, Robert Rosenbourgh, Isaac Wolter, Hailey Young, Jakyia Hawkins, Jamarah Jackson, Ilianah Huipio, Tyler Struppa, Charlotte De Leon, Kobe Washington, Alex Prater, Riley Gerald, DeAundria Nelson, Jaylani Garcia, Darrien Washington, Gianna Van Norman, Aubrie Haney, Damani Edgington, Janya Jackson, Ailbe Miegl, Phoebe Temple, and Jackson Jenkins
