Important Announcement! Out of an abundance of caution and safety due to COVID-19, ALL Michigan City Area School cafeterias will now be cashless. There will be no exchange of cash or deposits accepted in the cafeteria. To add funds into your child's meal account, simply create a free account here on the Titan Family Portal. Creating an account is easy and gives you access to view your child's daily meal activity and deposit funds instantly. You can link all your children's accounts into one. View a guide and FAQ's here. *Please note that because MCAS is CEP and all student meals are free you do not need to complete a free/reduced meal application on Titan.
Food items available for purchase that are not included in your child's daily free breakfast and lunch are ala carte items. These are sold at secondary schools only. To make this cashless transition easier for parents, MCAS Food Service is absorbing the processing fee. There is a minimum deposit amount of $10.00. These funds go directly into the student's account with no waiting period.
MCAS staff should also create an account in Titan to add funds to their meal account.
You may also access the textbook/cirricular assistance application via the Titan Family Portal.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Michigan City Area Schools have been operating under the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) since the 2018-19 school year. This means that ALL students receive meals at no charge! Students still need funds in their cafeteria account for extra milk or a la carte items. Because of this program, parents no longer need to apply for meal assistance. However, parents must still apply for textbook rental assistance. The Textbook/Curricular Materials Assistance application is part of online registration for all students. If you did not complete the form for this when registering your child, you can complete an application at any time on the Titan Family Portal. To apply for Textbook/Cirricular assistance: click Textbook/Curricular Assistance Application or type family.titank12.com/application/new?lang=english into a web browser.Parents must apply for textbook rental assistance each school year. Because situations change, families may apply at any time during the year. New students to Michigan City Area Schools must complete an application even if they were approved in their old school corporation.See above for the link to Titan, the system for online payments for a la carte items and viewing meal accounts.
