Habits of Character: Empathy Celebration
On Wednesday, October 11th, we celebrated the first quarter Habits of Character award winners. During Crew time, students were nominated for displaying empathy towards their fellow classmates. The nominators were then able to share their story of empathy and present the award to the winner at an assembly. Students also played a fun game where teams of contestants had to pop balloons (without hands!) and unscramble the letters inside to spell EMPATHY. Team 8 Arctic Wolves were the first to figure out the secret word. The assembly ended with a rousing rendition of the Krueger Fight Song.
