Registration for the 2022-23 School Year
(Returning Students Only)
Parents: Using your PowerSchool parent account, click on the “Forms” icon in the left navigation menu. Please complete all forms for each student in your family. You will be asked to update your contact information and your child’s medical information, grant important permissions, and choose whether or not your child will ride the school bus this year. (Optional forms also provide links to register for Textbook assistance, after-school care, and the Open Door Adolescent Health Center at MCHS.)
All students should be registered by Friday, July 22, 2022.
All Registration can be completed online. However, all schools will be open on Thursday, July 21 from 9:00am to 5:00pm for anyone needing assistance.
** We highly recommend using a computer with a Chrome browser to complete registration. Forms are not available through the PowerSchool app.**

New Student Enrollment
(For NEW students - including Kindergartners who have not yet enrolled)
Parents: Follow this link to request enrollment: https://ecollect.accelaschool.com/mcasAfter completing the basic information requested, an MCAS staff member will review your request and email you a PowerSchool ID and password. You will be asked to create an account in the PowerSchool Parent Portal and use this information to associate your student to your login.
High School Parents ONLY: After completing the basic information at the link above, please contact Julie Krachinski, firstname.lastname@example.org or (219) 873-2044, ext. 4340 to make an appointment to complete the enrollment process in person at the high school.
Enrollment vs. Registration - What is the Difference?
Enrollment is "signing up" a new student to attend our schools. Once your child is successfully enrolled with MCAS, you will be asked to "register" your child for school. This is an opportunity to review important student information and to sign required forms electronically prior to the child's start of school.
At the beginning of each school year, all families will be asked to complete annual forms and update any contact or emergency information for their student(s). Returning student registration will begin July 1, 2022, using the PowerSchool parent portal.
