     Welcome to Our Class
     
     My name is Mrs. Nadia Dabagia. I graduated from Purdue University Calumet, and I also graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Master's Degree in Education. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 24 years. I have a daughter and two sons. They all graduated from Michigan City Area Schools. I also have a cat named Mittens.

    We are so excited that you will be joining us this school year! 

    We have lots of fun activities, lessons, and experiences planned for you.  We know that you will just love this school as much as we do, so welcome to the Joy school family!

    Please check your child's bag daily for classroom information. Please take the time to talk to your child about their day. Also, please read to your children every day, and stop to ask questions about the book. By doing this, you will not only help your children enjoy reading, but you will help them remember and understand what has been read to them.
