Meet the TeacherThank you for your desire to learn a little bit about me! I was born and raised in Michigan City. This is my 27th year of teaching. My entire teaching career has been spent in the Michigan City Area Schools. I have taught special education, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade. Most of my years have been spent teaching 2nd grade. I have degrees in Elementary Education and Mild Disabilities from Purdue University. I also have a master's degree in education. My life outside of school is a busy one! I have a great husband and three wonderful children. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of your child's education. I look forward to working with you during the school year. I value our working relationship. I am passionate about celebrating your child for who they are and meeting his/her individual needs. I know that we can make a difference in our children's lives if we are a team. Together, we will ALL grow!
