  • Meet the Teacher

    I am the Joy music teacher.   I am back in the music classroom after ten years as the Fine Arts Coach at Pine. Prior to that, I was an elementary music teacher in MCAS for thirty plus years.  I have an undergraduate degree in Music Education from Valparaiso University and a Masters in Education from Indiana Wesleyan.  
     
    I love the creative process and collaboration and look forward to many years of working with the Joy staff. 
     
     
    On a personal note, I am a mom to two wonderful children.  We enjoy camping, gardening and being outdoors with our coonhound, Ellie.
