• Attention Parents 2020-21

    In order to access the Zoom link for our Virtual Back to School night and for Class each day, follow the instructions before your scheduled meeting time.

     Please use your child’s tablet that the school provided.  Use in landscape (wide) view.

    Log in to the tablet using the white card from the supply bag.  Follow the directions on screen.

    1. Open Chrome
    2. Touch the house icon near the top left corner which takes you to MCAS Learning Place
    3. Touch CLEVER 
    4. Log in to CLEVER (if prompts pop up, answer the questions)
    5. Scroll down 
    6. Touch the Seesaw icon
    7. Go to the top left corner (should be icon, name and number of classes)
    8. Make sure to touch 01 Mrs. Buchanan’s Class
    9. Touch the Inbox tab on the right hand side
    10. Touch the blue link to Zoom
    11. Follow the prompts to open Zoom on the tablet

    This will be a first grade year like no other!  We will be opening our schools virtually for the first time in history.  I am so excited to meet your first grade student on our first Zoom meeting on August 24!  I will be communicating with each of you through a ClassDojo link as soon as the class lists are posted.  You will get more information about how virtual learning will work, and I will always be available to answer your questions.  Some of the programs that your child will need to use for our daily lessons are Zoom, Seesaw and IReady.  Information will be given to you about each program and tutorials will be made available.  If you have never used Zoom, please plan on signing up for a free account at your earliest convenience because our live instruction will be done via Zoom. 

     

    IMPORTANT DATES:

    Supply pick-up will be August 17th from 2-5pm and August 18th from 8-11am. 

    Virtual Open House will be August 20th. 

    School begins on Zoom August 24th!
