eLearning Day Agenda - 11/12/2019 Due: November 15th

  •  Writing and Math assignments are similar to the last eLearning assignments, but practice is still needed.  Thank you.


    I can... tell the setting, characters and plot of a story. 

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Listen to Whistle for Willie or read a book you have at home.
    2. Write the setting and the characters found in the story.
    3. Write a sentence each to describe the beginning, middle, and end of the story.  Add illustrations to your sentencesWork to be turned in: setting, character list, and beginning - middle - end sentences and illustrations (45-60 minutes)


    I can... write sentences about a topic and use correct punctuation and capitalization.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Write 5 or more sentences using words from the word list below.
    2. Check your sentences for capitals, end marks and complete thoughts.
    3. Word List:  fling, slap, sing, lip, dish, chin, chip, inch, ink, dip, pig, lap, slip, ring, pinch, ship

    Work to be turned in: 5 sentences (30-60 minutes)


    I can... count groups of coins that include pennies, nickels and dimes.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Collect some pennies, nickels and dimes
    2. Group them into small groups
    3. Draw the coins using circles and P, N, D
    4. Put the total amount of money
    5. Do this for 5 groups of coins

    Work to be turned in: Illustrations and amounts for 5 groups of coins (30-60 minutes)
