How to Report an Absence for Your Child
Parents can report absences for students by calling the school office.
OR
They can report absences electronically, using the PowerSchool parent portal. (Choose the Attendance Monitor menu option.)

Please note:

Parents can submit absences up to two weeks in advance, through the day of the absence. Absences that occurred in the past must be called in to the office.

Supporting information such as a doctor's excuse cannot be submitted through PowerSchool. Supporting documentation must be turned in to the office.

Absences submitted through PowerSchool are confirmed electronically with the parent, to confirm that they are valid.
- If you are using a cellphone to access PowerSchool, we recommend that you access it through the MCAS app. The MCAS App is available for free download in the App Store or Google Play.
