  • Meet the Teacher
    My name is Elizabeth Tylisz and I teach Welding at the AK Smith Center. 
    I have been a welder since 2006 and a welding instructor since 2012.
    I have taught at a college level and high school level 
    with students from all ages and all walks of life.
    I am origianlly from Michigan City, IN 
    but with becoming an experienced welder 
    I have lived in 5 different states and have been able
    to travel where ever I felt like I wanted to.
    I love teaching welding. 
    I enjoy helping others learn a new skill, 
    especially one that can save you thousands of dollars in college loans. 
    I look forward to sharing my experience 
    with you and helping you on your educational and CTE journey.
