Meet the Teacher

Hello Students and Families!!!
My name is Mrs. Danielle Case. I am so excited to be your new teacher for the 2021-22 school year. I can’t wait to get to know you all, but until then, I will tell you about myself.
I graduated from Purdue Northwest with Miss. Walker and I am thrilled to get the opportunity to work with her again. I majored in Elementary Education with a concentration in reading. I was born and raised in Michigan City. I attended Springfield, Krueger, and finally Rogers. After graduating college, I worked as a 3rd-grade teacher in Benton Harbor, MI. This is my second year here at Knapp Elementary.
My family consists of my husband, our 8 children, and our 3 grandchildren. We also have 4 dogs, 1 cat, and 9 chickens. When I am not busy being a wife, mother, teacher, I am usually found outdoors. I love kayaking, fishing, camping, riding my ATV. I also LOVE to travel. Another thing you are going to find out about me is I am a HUGE Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel fan.
