• Welcome 

    My name is Joseph Metanias, and I am one of the Assistant Principals here at Michigan City High School. 

    I oversee the Student Services Department, along with many other roles and responsibilities.   
  • Meet the Administrator
     
    I have been a school counselor for over 12 
    years, yet I am very excited to be in my 
    new role as Assistant Principal.
    I have recived multiple degrees over those
    years.  They include a Master's in School 
    Administration from Ball State University, 
    a Master's in Education from Valparaiso 
    University, a Master's in School Counseling
    from Saint Xavier University, 
    and a Bachelor's in Psychology/Sociology 
    from Eastern Illinois University.  I am
    thrilled to be in this new role at the 
    High School!
