    Hello! My name is Josie Valdez and I am so excited to be here at Joy Elementary! 
     
    I graduated in 2020 from WGU and recieved my degree in Elementary Education. I have worked with many grades but 2nd grade has always had my heart! This will be my first year teaching and I am looking forward to working with you and your student! 
     
    I live in Trail Creek and just purchased a house there with my boyfriend and we are new dog parents to Nelly! She is the sweetest! I enjoy listening to music and attending concerts. I also occasionally enjoy a pink drink from Starbucks (not a fan of coffee). 
     
    This year will be a great year and I am excited to grow with your students!
