     Welcome to room 114 at Joy school. I am so excited to start this year with a new group of students! I know we are going to have an amazing year full of hands on learning, engaging activites, and so much fun!

    Hello, my name is Madalynn Dow. I am a first a first grade teacher at Joy Elementary School. This will be my third year teaching, but my first year teaching in the MCAS District. I grew up in Michigan City and graduated from MCHS in 2015. I then graduated from Purdue Northwest with an early childhood degree in 2019. I just recenly bought a house in Trail Creek with my boyfriend Danny and our dog Nala Bean. I am so excited to learn and grow with my new classroom family!
