  • Meet the Teacher:
    Hello.  I'm Melissa Flack, the MCVA K-1 teacher.  I am starting my 34th year of teaching Kindergarten and First Grade.  I am a graduate of Purdue University and IU University.  I have a passion for teaching literacy to young readers and I am also actively involved in designing and teaching STEM curriculum to Kindergarten and First Grade students.  I live in Lafayette IN, but have spent a lot of time in Michigan City.  It is a place that I love and I am so happy to be a part of the community in this capacity.  I am so excited to be partnering with you in your child's education and on this new educational journey.  Please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me at any time.
