    Good morning guys,

First and foremost, I want to say I hope you are all doing well and hope you all stay healthy and safe during this next month as we get into this extended e-learning period. I know it's tough for me sometimes to get work done while I am at home, so I'll do my best to outline what the minimum expectations are and clarify things if something changes so you know what you have to do to be counted as present each day, and still complete your courses.

At the moment, we're simply going to treat each day like a normal e-learning day, so I should see a certain amount of progress each day. Some days it might be one mastery test, others it might be two or three. To be clear, at this point, what I would like to see is a minimum of 1 hour and 30 minutes each day of on task time in order for me to count you as present for attendance purposes. I'm going to check in with Ms. Sisk, Ms. Sgambelurri, and Mr. Biggs to make sure we are all using the same expectations. Do your best to stay on pace!

For simplicity, since many of you will be doing e-learning for your AK Smith class, I will only be using my teacher page associated with the Laporte County Career and Technical Center (AK Smith), located here (under the E-learning tab on this page).

For test unlocks or unit unlocks or whatever questions you have during the day, 9am to 3pm, message me on Google Hangouts and we can get things sorted for you. If you message me outside that time I'll do my best to help you out as soon as I can.

I'll be in touch daily! Expect me to send you a chat on Google Hangout as well to check in with you occasionally, and perhaps short videos from time to time.

Again, please feel free to message me any time. We will still be able to get in touch with school counselors and administrators if need be to make sure we stay on track. Take care everyone.
