Barker Middle School

 Welcome to our class.  I am excited to start another year.   We will be focusing on reading, math and language arts skills.  We will be using a new curriculum called "Unique".  We will also be working on job skills.  Hopefully we will be starting to visit Reins for Life.  Please send paperwork back if you haven't.

 

Let me introduce myself.  I have taught for 36 years almost all of them at the middle school level.  I am married and live in LaPorte. I have 2 children and two grandchildren that I am guardian for because my daughter will be forever 32.  I have a dog, chickens. and a stray cat and her kittens that adopted me.  My hobbies are sewing, baking, camping, and reading.  I love being around water, it doesn't matter if it is the ocean or a lake.  I am looking forward to helping your child succeed and continue on their journey as life long learners.
