Welcome to Mrs. Brown's 1st Grade!!

 

I am very excited to be spending 
this year with your child!
This is my 15th year teaching 
and second time teaching first grade!
I love 1st grade!! 
I have also taught third grade, 
second grade, and have previously 
been a reading specialist. 
I have lived in Michigan City 
my whole life and I am a graduate 
of Michigan City High School. 
I went on to get my teaching degree 
from Purdue North Central.  
I have twin girls, Lila and Mia, 
who are in 7th grade this year 
and my youngest daughter, Josie,
just turned started Kindergarten! 
I LOVE all things Disney! 
I also love photography, bike riding and 
spending time with my family.
