Meet the Teacher
Hello! My name is Victoria Gray and I teach Environmental Science, AP Environmental
Science, and Dual Credit Biology II. This is my fourth year teaching at MCHS but 5th
year overall (I spent one year student teaching in the Early College Freshman Biology
class).
I am actually originally from San Diego, CA but moved to beautiful Michigan City 3
years ago. I attended San Diego State University (Go Aztecs!) and got my Bacherlors
in Science in Biology (emphasis in Marine Biology), went to California State University
Long Beach and got my Masters of Science in Biology. I taught college level Biology
for a few years before I wanted to make the switch to high school. I got accepted into
the Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship, attended Valparaiso University, and got my second
Masters in Secondary Education (which is how I ended up in Indiana).
I enjoy hiking in the Dunes with my dog Georgia and fiance (Zachery), cooking, hanging out at the Lake, eating at
different restaurants in the City, and exploring Chicago! I love being a train ride away
to Chicago :)
