    The assignments below are for Ms. Abbey’s: Period 1: Health; Period 3: Biology I; Period 7: Wolfpack.  Please go to your 5th period class today.   

     

    If you are a student in P1, P3, or P7 and you do not have these subjects, please apply the steps of the lessons to the course you are assigned to work on during these class periods. 

    P1: Health

    Lesson Description - I can identify, record, and recall essential information related to the health and development of humans.

    Complete a tutorial and notes. Send notes to labbey@mcas.k12.in.us. Take a mastery test, if time permits.

    Steps of the lesson:

    1. Open the tutorial
    2. Open your notes and continue working. If you complete your notes, you may take a Mastery Test.
    3. To complete the lesson, please send me a copy of the notes that you worked on this period.

     

    To obtain new notes, go to the Resource folder located in each tutorial.

    P3: Biology I

    Lesson Description - I can strengthen my knowledge of basic biology through an introduction to biology and biochemistry, focusing on the roles of and differences between plant and animal cells, learning about the functions of different organ systems and cell division and the role of DNA and chromosomes in passing traits from parents to offspring.   

    Complete a tutorial and notes. Send notes to labbey@mcas.k12.in.us. Take a mastery test, if time permits.

    2. Open your notes and continue working. If you complete your notes, you may take a Mastery Test.
    3. To complete the lesson, please send me a copy of the notes that you worked on this period.

    P7: Wolf Pack Hour

    Please work on the subject or your choice for 15 minutes.  Take a 10 min break from the screen.  Return to work and decide If you would like to continue working or if you would like to be done for the day.  There is no penalty for not working past the 15 minutes.
