• Greetings and salutations!  Welcome to fifth grade at Lake Hills STEM magnet school!  We are going to have an amazing year!

     

     

  • Let me take a moment to introduce myself, my name is Miss Charpentier.  I spent most of my life in Chesterton, and moved to Michigan City in 2010.  In 2005, I graduated from Indiana University Northwest with my bachelor's degree in education.  In 2008, I was hired by Charter School of the Dunes in Gary, Indiana to teach fifth grade and spent nine years there. This is my fourth year at Lake Hills and it just keeps getting better! I look forward to seeing how much our students will grow academically and as people. 

    A few of my favorite things...Chicago Cubs, hiking, biking, gardening, and baking.  I have one older sister, younger twin brothers, and seven nieces and nephews.  We spend lots of time together celebrating holidays, birthdays, and just having fun.
