Hello!
My name is Miss Sarah Gawel and I feel blessed to be your child’s first grade teacher! I am looking forward to a wonderful school year filled with lots of fun, excitement, and learning. My goal is to provide your child with a quality education in a safe, inviting classroom. I encourage individuality and strive for children to discover their skills, talents, and unique qualities. I believe that all children have the potential for growth and success when given an equitable opportunity, an abundance of experience, and most importantly, a positive relationships with their teachers. I also believe that family matters and I would love to get to know the families of all the students in our classroom.
A little more about me...
I love love love the outdoors. Visiting national and state parks is my favorite hobby. Environmental protection is something I am passionate about. I also enjoy traveling to new places and learning about the culture and history of the people who live there. I will be getting our kids outside as often as possible and providing them with as many opportunities to learn about cultural diversity.
I am looking forward to a beautiful school year, Tigers!
