• Welcome to Mrs. Rife's 6th Grade Class
         This year I will be teaching reading and writing, while Ms. Day will be teaching science and math. Each of us will be teaching social studies in our homeroom classes. In writing, we will be concentrating on writing 5 paragraph essays and in reading, we will be working on comprehension of nonfiction, novel studies, and responding to reading with complete thoughts and text reference. I am looking forward to a very successful year.

    Hello! I am Mrs. Jessica Rife. This is my fifth year teaching at Edgewood school. I am very excited to be part of the 6th-grade team this year. I look forward to teaching reading, writing, and social studies. I really enjoy reading and writing and we are going to have a lot of fun with it this year! There are a ton of exciting things to do!
