Meet the Teacher
Hello everyone!! I am Miss Quartuccio, the art teacher!!!! I go by Miss Q since everybody has difficulty saying my last name. It really is an easy pronunciation: Kwar-TWO-chee-o!
This is my 8th year teaching art. We are going to have so much fun this school year, you are going to be impressed with what your little artists will create!
I was born and raised here in Michigan City. I attended St. Mary's Grade School and graduated from Michigan City High School. While at MCHS, I was the mascot (Clyde the Wolf) for three years and was Joe Puma at Saint Joseph's College. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Joseph's College. I received my teaching license from Calumet College of St. Joseph's.
I am available anytime after 3 p.m., except on Wednesdays during our professional development sessions. Emailing and ClassDojo are the best means of communication because I have easier access to a computer or phone to respond quickly.
I can not wait to get to know your children and to help them release their creativity!!
