Michigan City High School

My name is Ashley Zahrt and I teach Principles of Biomedical Science and Human Body System.  I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology from Ball State University and was able to participate in research on infectious disease, cell culture, and toxicology during that time.  I also received my master’s degree in Education from Valparaiso University so that I could teach students how to love, apply, and appreciate science.  I have been at Michigan City High School for 5 years.  I am the teacher sponsor for American Sign Language Club.  I am also the Michigan City High School Advisor for HOSA which is an organization for future health professionals.
