I graduated from Rogers High School in 1978, Bryan College in 1982 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Education. I completed an Internship at Pine Breeze Adolescent Treatment Center at Moccasin Bend State Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, This program was a new "National" model residential treatment program. My experiences there fueled my desire to work with adolescents. I received my Master's degree from Valparaiso University in 1986. It was there that I met my husband and we have been married since 1984. Our youngest son is a Junior at Indiana University, and the other two have graduated from Valparaiso and St. Francis. We love to travel, enjoy the theater, and antiquing. We also have three dogs and two cats.
