I am Mrs. Mullins. I have taught with Michigan City Area Schools for over 28 years. At the middle school level, I have taught a direct (separated) math, reading, and language arts class; a co-teacher in math, language arts and reading; and as a learning resource teacher. I moved up to high school and taught Read 180 for 1 year and then became a co-teacher in English 11 for 2 years. I was a building/teacher support for about 1 and 1/2 years. I taught for 1 year at Knapp Elementary School in the Behavior Supports Program. I have returned to middle school and am a Resource teacher.
I LOVE reading! Some of my favorite authors are Tim LeHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, Rick Riordan, and J.K.Rowling.
One of my all-time favorite series is Anne of Green Gables.
My husband and I have 1 son, Shayne and 1 dog, Odin, a Great Dane. He's grown so fast, his head can rest on the back of our couch!
I enjoy working with students, helping them to be successful. I also enjoy baking, gardening and landscaping in the summer although I've just recently discovered I have allergies to grass and trees. This makes lawn care a bit difficult for sure.
I have a B.S. and an M.S. both of which I obtained through attending classes at Indiana University, South Bend.
I love hearing from people, so please, send me a message that you stopped by!
