My name is Susan Cusick.  I have been teaching for 34 years.  Most of my teaching has been in the primary grades. I taught at Niemann for 21 of those years.  Since it's closing, I am happily relocated at Marsh Elementary.  I was born and raised in Michigan City, Indiana.  I love teaching children and first grade is my all time favorite grade to teach.  I enjoy doing hands-on lessons and thematic units.  The theme of our classroom is "Dive Into Learning."  Our classroom decor is a beach theme.  I believe that when teachers and parents work together, we can make a real "splash" for our children.
