Third grade is a big year for students.  We begin our first rounds of state testing.  We move from beginning readers who are learning to read, to readers who work to comprehend texts of increasing difficulty and length.  I look forward to another great year with this group of students!

 

Hi!  I'm Tessa Maguire, and I'm excited for another year at Pine.  This is my 13th year in education.  I’ve worked with students and teachers in grades K-8 as a teacher and as a coach.  I was at Niemann for 2 years, and have been here at Pine teaching first, second, and third grades  I’ve also worked in Portage and in Porter. I'm excited for a great year!
