I am looking forward to an amazing school year full of learning and growth for everyone! We will learn through engaging activities, hands on learning, and reading, reading, reading, (Did I mention reading?) we will learn and grow academically, socially, and emotionally as individuals as well as grow as a class.   

 

I would like each student to set a goal of reading at least twenty minutes each evening.  Many studies show that the more a child reads to self, out loud, or is read to, the more successful they will be academically. It is an expectation that students have addition and subtraction facts mastered at the beginning of the third grade in order to focus on the skills of mastering multiplication and division by the end of the 3rd grade.

 

While this year will likely be challenging for many, we will meet those challenges together, and have fun while we do it!

 

I am looking forward to an incredible 2023 - 2024 school year!
