Reading, writing and math are our main subject areas in Kindergarten, with as much Science and Social Studies we can fit in as well. 

Reading Standards: You can find a complete list of all reading standards covered this year here: https://www.doe.in.gov/sites/default/files/standards/enla/ela-2014-standards-k-5-mccormick-update.pdf Our main focus is on letter soudns, sight words, learning how to read CVC words and beyond, as well as rhyming and being able to state a beginning or ending sound of a word.

Math Standards: You can find a complete list of all math standards covered this year here: https://www.doe.in.gov/sites/default/files/standards/mathematics/kindergarten-standards.pdf We will mainly focus on number sense, and will get into addition and subtraction.
