Pre-Kindergarten InformationMichigan City Area Schools strongly believes that early childhood education is critical in preparing our children for success in school. We are pleased to partner with the La Porte County YMCA and Imagination Station, which offer quality Pre-K programs for 3- and 4-year-olds. These programs are housed at MCAS elementary schools and are run by YMCA and Imagination Station staff.Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for much more information about these partnerships.
MCAS Developmental Pre-KPrograms for Pre-K students with Special Needs are provided by Michigan City Area Schools at Knapp, Pine, and Springfield. For more information, call the Student Support Services Department at (219) 873-2000, or visit the Student Support Services Web page.
