Lake Hills Elementary School

 

 

My name is Leanne Lamport.  I have served Michigan City Area Schools since 2004.  In my undergraduate studies, I focused my educational curriculum on math and science.  These are subjects that I have always enjoyed, both studying and teaching. Working at Lake Hills STEM School allows me to use this passion to inspire curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning in all students. Previously, I worked as a third and fifth grade teacher in the elementary setting. Now, as instructional coach, I work to improve the instructional strategies in our school across all grades and subject areas.

I have worked in education for many years.  I have taught all grade levels including middle school and some high school.  I also taught a course at Purdue North Central.

Literacy and Math are important concepts that I work with teachers on a daily basis to increase student achievement.
