Meet the Teacher
I am the Modern Machining Technology instructor at A.K. Smith Career Center in Michigan City. I was born and raised in La Porte, Indiana. I attended Ivy Tech in South Bend to study Industrial Technology with a concentration in precision machining. I have 20 years experience in the precision machining and manufacturing industry. As an industrial worker, most of my experience came from working in machine shops involved in the aerospace industry. The company would receive an order to machine certain parts that were fabricated by another company. These parts were produced for the aerospace industry. My interests are fishing, traveling, bicycle riding, playing basketball, watching pro football. I also enjoy leaning about history, I spend some of my time researching various historical topics through books or the internet. I love spending time with my family!
