    Hello! My name is April Burns. I am the K-2 District Curriculum Coach at Knapp and Pine. This is my first year joining the Pine Staff. Prior to becoming the K-5 Literacy Coach in 2010 at Knapp, I taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade at Marsh Elementary for 25 years. I enjoy working with all the staff and students. My job is to support teachers in creating and implementing strong, engaging instruction. My job is very exciting because I get to work with K through sixth grade students to help them develop to their fullest potential as students.
