    Lesson Objectives:  Determine the theme of a story...from details in the text...

    Learning Target:  Using details in the text to identify the theme of a story will help you understand the story's important message, or lesson.

               2. Determine the theme of a story by interpreting details from the text

     Today we will be completing the next lesson "From Sir Ivaine:King Arthur and His Knights" in "Determining the Theme of a Story" from Lesson 9 in Ready Reading -You will need to turn to pages 142-147 in your books and complete lesson.

     

    Steps of the Lesson:  

    1. Ready Reading Lesson 9 - "From Sir Ivaine:King Arthur and His Knights"-You will need to turn to pages 142-147 in your reading journal and complete the lesson

    2. Log into MobyMax  School Code is  in1455

    3. Go to the assignment tab and choose: Identify theme, topic, and plot

    4. Complete the assigned lesson: Identify theme, topic, and plot

    5. Read for 20 minutes

    Math-Part 2- Lesson 26-Perimeter and Area

    Standard:  4.M.4-Apply the area and perimeter formulas for rectangles to solve real-world problems and other mathematical problems.  Recognize area as additive and find the area of complex shapes composed of rectangles by decomposing them into non-overlapping rectangles and adding the areas of non-overlapping parts: apply this technique to solve real-world problems and other mathematical problems. 

    Lesson Objectives:
