Face shields  MCHS student Josh C. making Face Shields
    UPDATE 3/31/20  - DONATIONS NEEDED!

Safe Harbor's Michigan City Robotics team and MCHS Project Lead the Way engineering students and teachers are using 3D printers to make face shields for hospitals in La Porte and Starke county.
Students are able to make 5 shields per day on each of the 16 3-D printers.

The transparency sheets will clip into the devices that they are making. Elastic headbands/swim goggle straps/and hair bands are also needed to secure the shields.

To maximize shield making efforts, we are reaching out to anyone who has any transparency sheets OR elastic head bands/goggle straps to donate.

If you have TRANSPARENCY SHEETS or ELASTIC BANDS to donate, please contact MCHS Associate Principal Julie Fregien to schedule a pickup.
