    "Fiber Arts Kits"  Through this grant Art Studio 312 recieved sewing notions and fabric so that our 6th grade Fiber Arts class can learn about the the art of sewing.

    2014-2015 Michigan City Community Enrichment Corporation Grant
    "Art Surrounds us"   Artist Deborah Landry created 12 benches that were covered with clay tiles inspired by student art work. Benches and a stage that A.K. Smith building trades built were installed outside next to our pond.  Classes in the fall and spring and often be found using this outside learning space.

    "African Rhythms"A 5th grade project in which the related arts teachers (Music, P.E., and Art) worked together during black history month to teach students about the common vocabulary term "rhythm".

    "Once Upon a Medieval Time"  Third grade showcase project where students were immersed in the arts of the medieval times.
     
    2012-2013 Michigan City Community Enrichment Corporation Grant
    "Art:  It's for the Birds"  Community Clay Tile project with artist Deborah Landry where Pine students, staff, and community members made clay tiles to adorn the walls of four concrete pillars that are themed after the four seasons.  Each pillar is designed for birds with one having a bird house, a bird feeder, and a bird bath.
