Does your family need low cost health coverage?
Beginning in 2014, most people are required to have health coverage. If they don’t, they may have to pay a fee. MCAS has partnered with Covering Kids and Families of Healthy Communities to ensure that 100% of MCAS families receive health insurance coverage. CKF is a statewide organization committed to enrolling all children, adults and families eligible for health insurance through Medicaid’s Hoosier Healthwise (HHW), Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP), Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) and recently added Affordable Care Act/Marketplace (ACA) programs.
CKF of Healthy Communities has designated staff as your personal MCAS enrollment specialists. They are available to assist families with HHW, HIP, CHIP and ACA programs. All staff are certified Indiana Navigators and Federally Certified Application Counselors.
Open enrollment for the ACA Marketplace plans is November 1 through December 15, 2018.
