• Student Awards:

    Honor Roll:

    To be on the Honor Roll a student must have achieved a 3.2 to 3.9 grade point average on a 4.0 system. The highest recognition a student can achieve is the Principal's Honor Roll.

    To be on the Principal's honor roll a student must have achieved a 4.0 grade point average. Students receive the award at the end of each 9 week grading period with an award certificate presented to them during an awards ceremony.

    Perfect Attendance:

    The perfect attendance award is given on a quarterly basis. Students receive this award when they do not miss any school or are not late 3 times (tardy) to school during the quarter. The students receive their award certificate during the award's assembly held at the end of each school quarter by the principal. This award is celebration of a child's inner desire to attend school on a daily basics.

    Student of the Month:

    Students are chosen by their classroom teacher based on LIFESKILLS. The student must show consistent or improved use of integrity, courage, initiative, flexibility, perseverance, organization, sense of humor, effort, common sense, problem-solving, responsibility, patience, friendship, curiosity, cooperation, caring and pride. The student has done his/her "personal best" to achieve this award. The picture award is displayed for all to see on the "student of the month" bulletin board in the hall near the office. They also receive a student of the month pin.
