    WELCOME TO AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY!

     In this course, students will learn how to properly and professionally diagnose and repair multiple vehicle systems on late model cars and light trucks.
    Students will have up-to-date training using the latest technology in automobile diagnostics.  Additionally, all students will have the opportunity to service customers' vehicles and get first-hand experience in service counter operations, shop management and customer service.
    Professionalism is held at a very high standard as the students learn not only automotive service skills, but also team-building and public relations skills.
     
     
     
     
  • Meet the Teacher
     

    My name is Steve Barnes.  I have a beautiful wife, 3 wonderful kids and a great passion for the automotive field.  Some people accuse me of having motor oil for blood.  I attended Rogers High School and took both Vocational Auto Trades and Vocational Auto Body classes in my last two years there.  I then graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute before spending the next 20 years in the automotive field.

    I love all forms of motorsports and I use high performance and motorsports in my class to motivate students.  This passion for the automobile has lead me into some great adventures that include traveling to several states to attend races and car shows, meeting several racing celebrities and having the time of my life.
