    Weekly Newsletter
     
    Classroom newsletters will be in your child's Homework Folder every Monday.  All homework for the week in be detailed at the top of the newsletter.  Classroom activities and upcoming events will be detailed at the bottom of the newsletter.

    Homework Folders

    On Mondays, your child will bring home a homework folder and it should be returned with completed homework on Friday. 
     
    Parents only need to sign once on the comments sheet for the entire week.
     
    Homework - One to Three reading stories with questions are required to be completed each week as well as the READY math packet.
     
    Students will be practicing a Spelling/Phonics Skill throughout the week with me and at the Word Work Literacy Station.  Students will NOT be provided with the exact words for the test.  They will be applying the skill practiced throughout the week to spell the unknown words for the test.
     
    Students are required to read 20 minutes each night for Fluency practice. Please record the minutes your child read on the monthly Reading Log Calendars.  The calendars will be sent home at the beginning of each month.
