    Hello!!  I'm Mrs. Thunherst and I am so excited to be part of the Lake Hills Elementary family!!  I have been a teacher for 25 years in another district very similar to the schools in Michigan City.  I am energized and ready for the new year,  I am looking forward to the new faces of the scholars entering my classroom and getting to know them and their families.
     
    I believe that by working as a cohesive team (teacher, student, parent, school faculty), all students can believe in themselves and lead themselves to be lifelong and successful learners.
