Hello, and welcome to 2nd Grade!My name is Katie Haughtington, and I am happy to be part of the Marsh Elementary School family. Building relationships with students as they explore the world and work with others is a joy. Students help me to remain curious and it is a privilege to be part of their journey as they grow and develop through their elementary years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Science Endorsement from Indiana University. In addition, I have an Elementary Credential from the American Montessori Society. I have been teaching students in the elementary setting for 18 years, beginning at Coolspring and Niemann Elementary in Michigan City and then at Chesterton Montessori School in Chesterton, Indiana. I enjoy being active outside and traveling. I love my family. I have four children and a patient husband. I am looking forward to meeting you!
