• Pandemic EBT - 2020-2021 School Year

    Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) provides food assistance to families with students who would have received free or reduced lunch while attending school but are not in school due to COVID-19 restrictions. Families with eligible children will be issued a card with which they may purchase food. Keep your card!

    The Indiana Division of Family Resources (DFR) is issuing the P-EBT Benefits. P-EBT was authorized by the Families First Corona Virus Response Act. Michigan City Area Schools is participating in this program.

    Benefits are issued quarterly at the end of the month. Please see the estimated issuance dates below. Keep your card!

    July - September September 30, 2021

    ** PLEASE NOTE: In order for you to receive this benefit, it is very important that MCAS has up-to-date address information for your children to provide to the Indiana Division of Family Resources. Please contact your school by Wednesday, January 13th if you have a change of address or phone number! **
