    Today’s ELA Work Checklist (60 minutes to complete)

    I can... Conduct short research assignments and tasks on a topic. (5.W.5)

    1. 9:15 a.m In Google Classroom, click on the assignment called Wild Card Wednesday. Kahoot anyone? All you need today is yourself! (10-15 mins)
    2. In Google Classroom, continue working on your Athletes of Social Change Google Slides Presentation. Make sure to use the expectations list from Monday's assignments to make sure you include everything. Even if you are done, please go back and look at it to make sure it meets the expectations! (20 mins)
    3. Identifying Theme: Yesterday you were assigned a pathways lesson for Theme. If you have not done that, please finish that today. You will also need to do 30 minutes of reading pathways. Remember when you get 100% on a quiz, let Mrs. McMeans know and she will mark it! (20 mins)
    4. In Google Classroom, click on the assignment called Read Aloud: Hoot Chapter 18 Part 2. Listen to the chapter being read aloud. (10 mins)
    5. In Google Classroom, click on the assignment called Google Form: Hoot Chapter 18 Part 2. Complete and submit the Google Form. (10 mins)

    Today’s Math Work Checklist (50 minutes to complete)

    I can…Find the volume of a right rectangular prism with whole-number side lengths by packing it with unit cubes, and show that the volume is the same as would be found by multiplying the edge lengths or multiplying the height by the area of the base. (5.M.4)

    1. In Google Classroom, click on the assignment called PPS pg. 285-288. Complete the Google Form and submit when finished. (30 mins)
    2. Complete 20 minutes of math pathways. Be sure to comment on Go Guardian if you get a 100% on a quiz. Mrs. McMeans is still keeping track of those who are getting those great scores! The mail is still working, and we are feeling the need to spoil some hard working 5th graders! :) (20 mins)

    2. In Google Classroom, click on the assignment called Grade 6 ELA - Reading Literature - Paired Text - The Story of a Bad Boy. Click on the link and complete the Edcite assignment. (30 mins)

    2. In I-Ready, complete the lesson that has been assigned to you called Area of Parallelograms, Quadrilaterals, and Polygons. (30 mins)
